Oh, puppy training! Paisley is a spunky, full of life, wild puppy. Don't get me wrong, I. love. her. Am obsessed with her. ( I can only imagine what I will be like with kids one day, sheesh!) But puppy training, as everyone warned, is challenging. My goal is to end up with a trained, well-behaved puppy/dog. We've got a long way to go! Does anyone have any great puppy training advice?

Well i'm not the best dog trainer but everyone told me to be consistant! The one thing i have done with buddy i make him sit before i let him in the back door and before i let him eat. So he won't do either until i say eat or come in. At least on his good days :) Good luck! o i also heard the dog wisperer is amazing maybe check out his book or his show.
Thanks! I have heard that about the dog whisperer, too! A girl at work was just telling me about him. I am trying my best to be consistent... It's challenging some days but I know if will pay off. Some days I wonder if I got a Marley puppy!
Be strict/firm in the beginning, if u want to enjoy a good dog later... I hate that i gave into my cute puppy bc even once is BAD!!! And now I have a dense/spoiled dog (who failed obedience school...) I wish I was strict and ignored those sad puppy eyes in his puppy days... My friend has the most obedient golden doodle. Jealous.
Oh and p.s. Puppies need to pee roughly around every 20 minutes... The one thing I did right was listen to a trainer tell me, "anytime He finishes doing SOMETHING, take him out to potty bc their train of thought is so limited..." ex: potty after he chews a bone for a while, wakes up from a nap, or plays... The consistency of taking him out makes him associate peeing with outdoors and he'll be more likely to go to the door around the third week automatically. Consistency. Haha.
