[rez-uh-loo-shuhn]

Oh, resolutions... I've never been one to really sit down and write out my resolutions, or, for that matter, make serious resolutions. This year, however, I find myself reflecting on the past year and realizing that there are some things I would like to work on this year. A new year offers a perfect new beginning and I am going to take it!

Stop stressing over the small stuff... The undone laundry, the kitchen floor that needs swept (for the third time in one day), forgetting to put a casserole in the oven, my favorite pair of jeans being too tight, etc. Like CSB reminded me yesterday, (after I got upset over something silly. and small.) life is too short.

Stop saying, "I want...," "I need...," "we should get..." You get it. Though i usually verbalize benign needs, I find myself verbalizing often. I've caught myself 3 times in the last day already. I don't need anything, really. And my wants are generally just things that I would like to have one day, not right now. I want to be content as things are and not appear as constantly wanting more.

Get my butt back in the gym! Yep, I'm jumping on the bandwagon with this one. I am getting married in 9 1/2 months; October 15th should be motivation in itself. Though I have a few lbs. I'd like to shed my main focus is a healthy lifestyle and toning up a bit. 26 and the addition of a puppy have reeked havoc on my exercise habits.

Enjoy every day I am given. Life is not something to be taken for granted as it can be gone in the blink of an eye. I want to continue to love my family deeply, be a loyal friend, and be a positive influence on those around me.

Girl you look fabulous! Being healthier is great for everyone but I don't think weight loss should be a priority for your. I'm with you on living everyday to the fullest.
